Last night I attend my first Pictage Users Group in Austin. It was an amaizng experience where we talked about different strobe lighting techniques and shared ideas and new found discoveries from those that attending the Las Vegas Photography show called WPPI earlier this week.
It struck me as I was talking about stuff with the amazing Bonnie Berry of Bonnie Berry Photography that photography is the most challenging and more rewarding thing I've ever done. It's not for the faint of heart and takes great perseverance for excellence and is never dull. It's great to have a community of people to discuss the technical side with. The fun part is working with the clients and getting to know new faces and capturing those amazing moments. I'm planning to prioritize these monthly get togethers there's no telling what I'll learn next!

Isn't that true! I'm sure you work harder now that you are a photographer than you ever did before, but the sense of pride, accomplishment, and reward is way better than just collecting a check every other friday.
It was great meeting you at the Pug.
