Dance Like No One Is Watching {Austin Dance Photographer}

Faux-Toes loves graceful little girls and when Ms. Danielle Richard of My Time Ballet in Lakeway requested we be there to shoot the girl's dance rehearsal my heart leaped at the opportunity. What an absolute joy it was! Little girls being little ballerinas. Ms Richard is wonderful with the girls and with her talented ballet background it's no wonder. You can read more about the My Time program by clicking here. Here are a few of my favorite images from the rehearsal yesterday. Enjoy!

Welcome to the world, sweet baby C! You are the loveable thing since sliced bread. My time spent with you yesterday was the sweetest thing and such a lovely summer evening it was. Be Still My Heart {Austin Baby Photographer}

Good Lord, this big-eyed baby had me at hello. Little did I know how perfect he really was until we got him upstairs in the studio. Just precious, through and through. I owe a very big thanks to the awesome graphic designer Hope Carberry for her previous help on some marketing projects I had going on earlier this year. In exchange for awesome materials, I got to meet and photograph her precious nephew. Good times all around. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Community Service

I love giving back. I think it is one of the most important things we can do as human beings walking on the face of the planet. So two weeks ago when my good friend, Sarah Mueller, asked me to participate in Career Day at Hudson Bend Middle School, I eagerly said, "SIGN ME UP!" Middle School is so damn awkward that I know God has a.) a sense of humor and b.) always a plan and purpose.
So I spoke for two hours in twenty minute segments to different groups all about the joys of pursuing your passion and what I love about photography. Interest levels ebbed and flowed throughout the morning, but everyone's ears perked up when I said I'd happily take their FauxToes! And that's when I got these beauties:

If I was able to inspire just one to follow their heart, I call that a morning well spent. I know I sure had fun seeing new faces and sharing the delights of my career choice.

Once Upon a Time {Austin Fairytale Photographer}

There were two very beautiful sister princesses who lived in a magical kingdom right smack dab in the middle of Texas hill country.

And Faux-Toes had the distinct honor and privilege of catching up with a friend and her sweet family yesterday evening as the sun went down. I think we captured some really sparkling images of these little girls. Enjoy the sneak peek and may you live happily ever after! I cannot thank you enough for choosing Faux-Toes.com! Thank you!

all my love,
k-ro
So happy together:

Oh, I just love the playfulness of this one and the sparkles in her eyes.
Only little for just a little while:

Man oh man, little M is the epitome of mama's spittin' image in this one:

This one tells a wonderful story of little sister following in big sister's footsteps. Plus, I love the way big sis bunches up her dress to run like the wind.

I adore this next one... it reminds me angels are standing before us all the time.

I just adore this "arty" one of her hands collecting wildflowers. I dare say my photography school teacher would have called this one an iconic image of girlhood.
The End.

Due Any Day Now {Austin Maternity Photographer}

My sweet friend is nine months pregnant and gorgeous! She is anticipating the birth of her third child and knows it's her first girl. When her Mama accompanied her for this shoot today we giggled and dreamed about all the fun Ms M is gonna have with this precious addition to the W family. Stay tuned, folks... newborn pictures will follow within a week, if baby C cooperates! Enjoy the sneak peek.
With lots of love,
k-ro.

When Little Miss S turned four exotic animals came out of the woodwork to wish her an extry special day. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Headshots come to the rescue! {Austin Corporate Photographer}

Sometimes, stars align and pathways are cleared to help a fella out. This handsome guy was just nominated for CFO of the Year in Austin. I highly think he deserves it and can't wait to hear the future goodnews that he was also crowned CFO of the World. Good Luck, Man!
